MedicalUS scientists have found human saliva carries markers of breast cancer and have opened the door to the possibility that one day your doctor, or even your dentist, could do a simple saliva test for the disease.The discovery is reported in a paper published in the 10th January issue of the journal Cancer Investigation and was the work of researchers at the The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston.
